The Grand Prize Winner will be personally selected by Dan Fogler and members of the Chapterhouse team. The team will be reading every submission to determine the next Moon Lake story!

ABOUT DAN FOGLER & MOON LAKE
Moon Lake, by author and actor Dan Fogler, (Brooklyn Gladiator, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Walking Dead) is a mysterious portal into the weird, drawing all manner of macabre mysteries to its shores. In the spirit of the classic horror tales from EC Comics, Moon Lake combines comedy, horror, and adventure into a fantastic anthology, where each story is centered on the strange happenings of Moon Lake.

SUBMISSION requirements
Each submission must result in a story that is no longer than five pages.
Writing a Script:
the script must result in a comic that would be completed in 5 pages or less. This means you can have a 10 page PDF used for writing the script, as long at doesn’t exceed 5 pages worth of a comic story in said PDF.
Creating a Completed Comic (with Illustration):
the final file must result in a comic that is five pages or less. Please ensure that you maintain any raw files or scans for editing purposes if you’re chosen as the winner, as well as the final image files.

DEADLINE
All stories must be submitted by February 15, 2019 at 11:59 PM EST.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a cash prize?
There is! The winner will also receive $500, no matter what size the winning story is. That means that if you write or draw one page and win, you’ll still be getting $500!
Can I pitch my story somewhere else if I don’t win?
Definitely! As long as you don’t include specific names, logos, or characters from the Moon Lake anthology, feel free to share or publish your story as you’d like!
Will you be using any of the stories that aren’t selected?
While they won’t be published in Moon Lake Vol. 3, we will be sharing the majority of the stories on our website and social media. Also, any story that makes it to the final selection pool will be considered for Volume 4!
